CRAFTSMAN BIO

It all started in 2010 when I purchased a small live-edge madrone wood slab while on a road trip to Bellingham Wa. I dug in head-first researching how to flatten, sand, and finish live-edge wood properly. Along the way, I have amassed a serious collection of German power tools, Canadian high-carbon steel chisels, and American finishing products.

I enjoy working with local customers to build practical objects for everyday life using locally sourced hardwood species of the pacific northwest. In fact, most of our wood comes from Orcas Island. Some of the pieces I have built include desks, tables, cutting boards, roubo-style work benches, picture frames, benches, shoe caddy's, wall art, and more.
